... It even works with cellular data turned off. I would have given it 5 out of 5 stars if the app could automatically SMS a contact at a set regular intervals ( like once every 30 minutes or once every hour.)

One star until you can make it to where you can get a automatic text on location with a key word

App displays the google maps link and coordinates. Please display the coordinates in a way to paste them into gpskit or other offline map tool.
Wish list
It would be nice if it also had the coordinate format "degrees and minutes (DM)" which is the format that Garmin GPSs use. This would make it easier to input the data into a Garmin.
Manual position does not work it still sends local position rather than deviated position
Manual position a very nice feature so that you can point to a place where we will meet and send as though we were there unfortunately this does not work
